Hospital Visits
HOSPITAL VISITS
When parishioners are sick and/or hospitalized, the priest, once informed, is happy to make a pastoral visit. In the case of scheduled surgery please let the priest know in advance when and where your surgery is scheduled, who will be with you on the day of surgery and how to contact them, and keep us informed if that information changes. In the case of an extended hospital stay, the priest and/or a lay Eucharistic Visitor is available to bring communion.
The goal of our pastoral visits is to provide comfort, to pray, to perform the laying on of hands for healing, and to exercise a ministry of presence.
To receive a hospital or other medical-care oriented facility visit, contact the parish office or the pastoral care minister at 970-400-7462 to speak to the priest directly. Please do not presume others will notify the priest or that the priest knows of your situation.
