Outreach Ministries
Outreach Ministries
Trinity Episcopal Church has a heart for ministry and believes in serving our neighbors, both here in the Greeley area and around the world.
Currently we are focusing on three areas of service:
Food Boxes and direct service to area residents
Cold Weather Shelter
Funding Grants to local and international non-profits
Outreach Grants
One way Trinity Episcopal Church has served others is by providing gifts to nonprofit organizations which our parishioners have brought to the Outreach Committee. The Outreach Committee is presently evaluating applications for the year 2024. These grants are given from Trinity Parish and the Committee would like to invite any Trinity member to submit an application for funding for a nonprofit organization with which they are involved. Applications need to be received by November 23 to be considered for the 2024 budget. Please know we will continue to evaluate grant requests anytime during the year as funds are available.
Food Boxes
Food Box Team is Looking for Hungry Families - Do you know someone who is in need of food assistance? Maybe a neighbor or someone you know through your work or community groups?
The Food Box Team is in the process of rebuilding our list of families needing our support. Some people will be carried over from the list used last year, but we are eager to find a few more people to add to our list. We are asking Trinity parishioners to refer families to us - families who need assistance for their food needs and are Weld County residents. Maybe you know these families through We have pre-packed food boxes to share right away with these families and we can then add them to our list for long-term assistance. If you want to refer a family for our program, please send an email to trinity@trinitygreeley.org or call Karoline at 381-6697.
Cold Weather Shelter
Have you wanted to know more about Trinity's ministry at the Cold Weather Shelter (CWS) and see what it is about? The CWS begins this year on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Trinity has signed up to continue our weekly ministry every Monday throughout the Cold Weather Shelter period.
